Randy has played in the Chicago music scene since he was 12 as a fill-in drummer for his Dad’s jazz combo.  In high school, Randy studied with Northwestern Professor, Tony Caselli.  He went on to study percussion at Northern Illinois University under the guidance of Robert Chapell and Rich Holly.  While in college, he played with Mr. Meyers and marched snare with the DCI champion Madison Scouts in the 1987 season.  Credits after college include all original projects, No Resistance, and Edge of Society.  Randy filled in with The Reagan Years, an 80’s tribute band, when he was living in the Washington DC area in 2006.  After moving back to the Chicago area, he founded the 80's band The Atari Age and marched with The Crystal Lake Strikers marching drumline, voted a fan favorite at the State Street Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2008 and 2009.  Most recently, Randy was in Light and Shade and Rustic Soul and plays monthly with the Praise Team at Cross Point Lutheran Church in Lakewood, IL.  Randy has played in some of the Midwest’s top venues – from intimate clubs to stadiums with 90,000 people.
